Our passions

At the end of tree-lined street Cesole, left for those who come from the fairy bridge Boats on the river Oglio, a straight path, Dirt Track, get lost in a field of sunflowers and … in this glow of light … “La Rovere” , a farm a bit special . It is a harmonious presence , a fragment of the past Mantua that smells of country life when the bell sounds MariaRosa with his family welcomes you with discretion and you have the feeling that the guest is sacred.

The environment is simple, warm and alive. A sequence of color and scent is brought to the table and you’re involved in the spell of the kitchen and of nature … it would remain there and wait for the sunrise. Summer brings forth the sun’s reflection in the flowers, but the palette of La Rovere is always full of green and gray , as is testified by the big old willow courtyard.

At the Agriturismo La Rovere, the typical Mantua’s cooking is combined with the Lazzarini’s family’s inventiveness and taste.

You will enjoy rich breakfasts with hot milk goes, jams, honey farm made and cakes just taken out of the oven; Cheerful snacks for passing group composed of flat breads, salami and quality Lambrusco wine.

During the lunches and the dinners at our Agriturismo you will tastethe original recipes of Lazzarini’s family mixed with the tasty Mantua’s cooking (pumpkin’s tortello, sorbir d’agnoli, sbrisolona cake).

The refreshment service is made on reservation. The two wide rooms at the ground floor are used to welcome families, small or large groups.
